A big scar on my leg is one of my biggest insecurities. I got it while I was trying learn how to ride a motorcycle. Well, I got 7 inches of stitches because of that. I have been thinking of covering it up for as long as I can remember, but I was afraid that I might regret it in the future. I must have mentioned in this blog how much and how long I have been thinking of getting a tattoo but yah...(six years!) .. So I finally did it!

I'm honored to be inked by Ann Savage herself |
It was a very good experience for me, except for the pain. Ann Savage is a very sweet lady and she made me feel at home. I just found her on the net and I found out that she is one of the best tattoo artists in Cebu, especially when it comes to portrait. Her staffs were awesome and they made me feel secure. I was embarrassed showing my big ass scar to her, but she and her husband didn't really mind it all. They just made me feel that "We've seen worse than that", which made me feel a-okay, believe it or not.

I found similar model at SM Cebu, but it's Php 2,000 more than Lander's.

Hi sis, ang ganda ng tattoo mo. Ilang days bago nagheal yan?
ReplyDeleteHi Ms. Cindy! Thanks. :) It took ten days para mag heal completely.
DeleteCongratulations! I suddenly remember the cartoon Cardcaptor Sakura because of your cherry blossom tattoo. Definitely a work of art and courage. Kudos!!!
ReplyDeleteAnd do you mind sharing the brand of the washing machine? WOW It's automatic wash, rinse, and spin. It will save my family's back from "banlaw and piga." I'm also looking at Abenson but the specification didn't say much. Thanks for the update. :-)
Hi! Thanks. :)
DeleteThe brand of the washing machine I got is Samsung. I thought it was a good deal pero dapat talaga may ample water supply ka to be able to do wash, rinse and spin kaya I put it beside my water tank.
Oh wow! Your tattoo looks awesome. I am also planning on getting a tattoo this month. I mean I was thinking of having one for 5 years or more now but I feel it more now so I guess this is the sign that I should get one too. I know this is a cliche question but does it hurt like really hurt? =/
ReplyDeleteIt does hurt, esp on a bony part of the body. The pain was tolerable but my problem was I couldn’t stay in one position for a long time. I suggest you bring a stress ball. I wish I brought one. Apparently, women are wired to take on more pain than men so that info eased my fear but yah, it still does hurt like a mother. The aftercare is the most important part so you have to ask your artist about that

DeleteI am pondering too to have a tattoo at least before I turn 40 this year.
ReplyDeleteThe only thing that's holding me back is the pain.
Argh... is it really painful?
