Phone Talks: The Cheapest Phone Out There

I don't know how my phone got broken, but it just did. I must have dropped it or my little raptors just clawed it, who knows! (I call Stark and Pepper "raptors" after watching Jurassic World.) But the best thing about having cheap phone is you don't really care that much, you don't fret if it suddenly go kablam, you just don't coz it's cheap. Though I did have this "sayang" feeling at first but things get broken and at least it's not too expensive to replace , I consoled myself.

So I marched to Unitop and got myself the cheapest phone that was available in one of the cellshops there:

Brand: Qnet
Price: Php 399
Added Feature:
• It has built-in flashlight
• FM
• Free earphone

It's blue, what more can I ask for. Ha!

For Php399, I could not complain. Just the basic, just so I can text and call and just so people could reach me... just what I need. Nothing more, nothing less.

I wonder if this phone is the cheapest in the Philippine market? Hmmm.

  2. I also bought a new phone. It's also a "flashlight phone". Pero mas mahal ng P300 sa phone mo. Pinagtatawanan ako ng mga officemates ko and even my husband, high tech daw ang phone ko. Ano naman ngayon as long as it's functional, right? I have a tablet naman where I can facebook and play COC.

SKK is also priced at 399. Yun sana bibilhin ko, di lang ako pinapansin nung tindero sa mall, porke ba tig 399 ang bibilhin ko. hehehe

Yah, I have iPod Touch 4th gen so I really don't need a fancy phone. Just to be able to text and call and Im good.

  3. You are not alone Miss Maria. I still use my Nokia 1110 blue color I bought since 2007 for buy1 take1. The take 1 I gave it to my mother but lasted only until 2013. It's just the bar type phone, black and yellow, however no flashlight. Battery is really good and long lasting. Just the basic call and text. I don't mind texting or calling in the crowd with it. Hahaha... :)

  6. Wow! Minsan when I get frustrated with my smartphone, I think of the time na you can really feel the keypad of your phone.

I salute you for living the simple life. I have been eaten by society and is holding a smartphone and all the other gadgets to 'stay connected'.

    1. Yah, technology has been really getting faster and faster and sometimes, it is really tiring to chase the latest "it" thing when it comes to technology. Simplifying my choice of phone has been one of the best decision I've made.

  8. I'm curious to know if you buy a new phone in the Philippines. Can you recommend an affordable phone with touchscreen. I plan to buy it for my mom since my siblings take ages to reply (a week) and they don't want to teach my mom how to use a phone. Thanks!
